• to understand the technique of image-guided breast biopsy and its clinical importance
• to choose and appreciate the ablation techniques used to treat breast carcinoma under imaging guidance
• to be familiar with indications for ablation, and to appreciate the need for preoperative and postoperative imaging studies and recognise typical findings of patients undergoing ablation
